Which shipping method should I choose?
Use FedEx or DHL when you need delivery in under a week and the total weight is under ~70 kg. Switch to air freight once you cross 100 kg, and to sea freight (LCL or FCL) when the order exceeds 1 CBM and timeline allows 3–6 weeks.
Are shipping charges included in the quoted price?
It depends on the Incoterms. EXW and FOB quotes exclude international freight; CIF, CFR, and DDP quotes include it. Your Proforma Invoice always shows which terms apply and any separate shipping line items.
Who handles customs clearance at destination?
Under DDP terms, ProSource MRO handles import clearance and duties. Under EXW, FOB, CIF, and CFR, the buyer is responsible for import clearance. FedEx and DHL offer integrated brokerage on most lanes.
Can I consolidate multiple orders into one shipment?
Yes. If you place several orders within a short window, let us know and we will hold them at our consolidation point and ship together. This typically reduces freight cost by 15–30% on sea and air lanes.
What packaging standards do you use?
All goods ship in heat-treated (ISPM-15) wooden crates or reinforced export cartons appropriate to the cargo. Fragile, hazardous, or oversized items receive custom crating at additional cost.
What if my shipment is damaged or delayed?
Report issues within 7 days of delivery with photos and packing-list reference. We work directly with the carrier on claims and, where covered, process cargo insurance reimbursement on your behalf.
